Hello everyone! This is Vector

. I have an idea for a new universal or general use polyurethane part. I have looked over the Energy Suspension online catalog, not the heavy duty one. I noticed that Energy Suspension doesn't seem to produce exhaust hangers. I was looking at the tired hangers on my little pickup project and thought... wow these things are "weak sauce", I really should look into getting rid of these saggy old rubber hangers. Which made me think after looking into this. A lot of people demand these things. British companies make these hangers for Ford Focus, Subaru Imprezas, and other small compact cars. I was going to look into buying hangers from precision urethane or a similar company. Since Energy Suspension doesn't make them already I guess people like having their aftermarket exhaust drag or scrape on speed bumps and slap the underside of the car when they hit bumps. I guess there isn't much of a demand from the "masses" as they say. I know that the rubber hangers seem to be an issue on the dual exhaust that was installed on the 2002 Tahoe that my brother drives. When he hits hard bumps his exhaust hits the underside of the truck. I think that if he got rid if the rubber hangers he might be able to eliminate that problem are at least help it.
Maybe this isn't something that Energy Suspension would make since it has to do with car exhausts and not suspensions. I think it would be a good idea to consider.. maybe. You do make a jack strap...
It would be nice if you added a folder on the forum for new ideas.. Maybe get rid of that research vehicle folder. Only one post in that one, seems pointless for users to offer their car for research when you post the cars you need on the main web site.
