I need a standard type gm rear trans mount for a 1980 firebird only 1" shorter, it can be 2 1" tall round isolators that I could screw into the trans, anything, any ideas???

Hutchinaugusta,

We have a wide selection of universal bump stops that might be able to help you.  You can view them on our website or via our catalog. 

Our tranny mount is the best solution for supporting your transmission.  I would recommend dropping your cross-member, if possible, to obtain your desired height.
