Just received bushing kits for front and rear of 1978 CJ 7. The kits are # 2.2117 R & 2118 R . These bushings appear to be smaller in dia. then the spring eyes. Can you tell me what the front spring front spring eye dia. should be. Also the rear sping rear spring eye dia. should be.

Hacksaw,
Kits 2.2117 and 2.2118 are for the frame to shackle positions only.
Kits 2.2115 and 2.2116 are complete leaf spring kits. They contain bushings for all three positions. Frame to spring, frame to shackle, and shackle to spring.
Sorry for the inconvenience!

Forgot to mention that there are aftermarket shackles on it. If that makes a difference which i think it does. Thats why i ordered the 2.117 and the 2.118 it said they were used with aftermarket shackels. Thanks for the info.

Dave,
Kits 2.2115 and 2.2116 are designed to be used with aftermarket shackles and will contain all the bushings you need for the front and rear of your vehicle.

Yes, a total of two kits.
2.2115 for the front passenger and driver side.
