Shifter Bushings

If your anything like myself, I can't stand sagging headliners, clunky doors, and mostly loose feeling driveline components.
I had my Dodge Neon for about a year until I started noticing the shifter slowly gaining slop in between shifts. It came to the point where there was a good inch of play between throws and thought to myself that enough is enough. I called Summit and ordered a brand new short throw shifter kit for my beloved Neon. It was all installed in about 2hrs and after it was all said and done I still had slop. It was only a matter of time before I consulted the local Compact Car guru and had him educated me that I was focusing on the wrong component. All that I needed was a simple polyurethane shifter bushing kit from Energy Suspension. One phone call and a few days later the parts were installed.
I am simply amazed at these simple little parts. They worked so good I even reinstalled the factory shifter and have noticed no delay in throw considering the overall increased leverage. I certainly didn't lose any race due to missing shifts or not being able to hit the gears fast enough. Next time a buy any aftermarket part, I'm going to do my research.
