Marky Mark,

That's a good question bud.  In fact it reminds me of a moment when an individual came up to my booth at a car show.  This gentleman came up with a southern draw and pointed to my display transmission mount.  He went on to say that he bought our mount, previously used, through a swap meet dealer 3 years ago for $20 and installed it in his race car.  He exclaimed that he's broken driveshafts, u-joints, and wheel studs but through the years it was one of the few parts installed on the car,  that has never been replaced.

I have no doubt that the mount you purchase from Energy Suspension will hold up marvelously mated to your existing OEM rubber mounts.

However if your engine is flexing under acceleration to the point where it is resulting in continuous breaking of your transmission mount, I want to assume that it's time for a new set of motor mounts and of course I am going to endorse ours. Your rotating engine is breaking connected parts at the point of least resistance which happens to be the rubber tranny mount.

My suggestion is this, when your vehicle starts blowing fuses you don't want to throw a larger fuse in it's place to try and fix the problem, you will usually discover that the problem still exists but has been hiding behind the curtain of a good quality part.  Do this right one last time and change both the OEM motor mounts and tranny mounts to polyurethane.

My $.02

Energy
