Here is the deal.  I have pressed out the old bushings and started putting the new bushings in.  They seemed to fit in firmly and securely.  The question is, Is it neccessary to put the transparent grease on the outside of the bushing (where the Poly bushing meets the metal wall of the part being changed)?  Where else do I need to put the grease?  I also need to put grease where the bolt goes through right?  I just want to make sure I do this right the first time.  Thanks.

Ed,

Sounds like your project is under way.  It's recommended that the grease be applied to the inner diameter of the bushings where the urethane touches the inner metal sleeves, even if you have to remove the inner sleeves, put on the grease, and replace the inner sleeve, this is a recommended procedure.  Also the outer diameter where the urethane touches the outer metal sleeve or component.  Place the grease in areas where the urethane will have contact with any metal components.  This should reduce any friction caused by the two parts rubbing together.

You have the fundamentals down and are on the right track.  If you have any other questions feel free to send me a line or give us a call.  Thanks for the question!!
