I have a '64 Catalina that I am restoring.  I bought a front and rear set of ES bushings for a '68 GTO and I think I can make almost all of them work by using the old inner steel bushings.  The ones that won't work are the ones for the upper control arms.  The o.d. of the shell is slightly smaller than the originals.  Do you have bushings that will fit that application?
Thanks

I'm assuming your asking whether we make a kit for the '64 Catalina, no we do not.  If you can get me some dimensions I might be able to help Smiley

Ok.  The O.D. of the needed bushing shell is from 1.308 at the flange end and 1.290 at the other end.  The i.d. of the sleeve needs to be .685, but I can machine it out if it’s close.  The length of the GTO bushing is fine.

My engineerng dept. couldn't find a bushing to match your dimensions.  You mention having the capability to machine down urethane so will this chart be of any assistance?

That might help.  If it doesn't, I'll just machine some outer bushings to go along with the GTO bushings I have.  Thanks for your help.

Just out of curiosity, what are the dimensions on a '64 Impala upper control arms?

I don't have that information on hand but if I can get engineering to dig them up then I'll post the dimensions.
