Sway Bar Bushing Stiffness
«

I purchased Stabilizer Bar Bushing set 9.5121G (17MM) for installation on the 17MM TSX rear bar I have installed on my 08 Honda Accord V6 Coupe.
But the bushings are so stiff that I find it impossible to spread them open enough to slip them over the bar. I have never had this problem with bushing sets that I installed on other cars.
Your suggestions on overcoming my problem are really appreciated. Thanks.

I solved my problem. The ends of the bar are flattened. I was able to spread the bushings open enough to start them on the bar, and then work them around the curves and into position.
